Now that the holidays are finally behind us, we’ve gotten back into the swing of things by adding over 130,000 peering routes to our network. This means that over 1/2 the internet is accessible to us via direct connectivity! This allows us great direct connectivity to many networking partners including other hosting facilities, content sites, search engines, media companies, residential access providers, educational facilities, and more. This goes to show our commitment to providing the best available connectivity to our customers.
Also, later this week we will be lighting our Chicago, IL expansion. This expansion consists of two sites, ORD0 and ORD1, in 350 E Cermak Rd, Chicago, IL. This expansion allows us to increase our network reach, service additional bandwidth, increase our transport and colocation customers and thus grants us the ability to enable even more peering sessions in the Chicago market.
